North Dakota State College of Science dropped their opening set of their NJCAA consolation bracket game and bounced back with three consecutive wins to keep their season alive with a Friday victory over 13th-seeded Cape Fear Community College. The set scores were 20-25, 25-23, 25-16 and 25-13.

Four Wildcats had double-digit kills with Jalen Ennen coming through for a team-high 14. She was followed by Calyn Crockett with 13 while Maddie McKinnon and Stella Raser had 10 apiece.

After a quiet showing from their blockers on Thursday, six Wildcats got their hands on at least one block. McKinnon had a solo and four assisted blocks while Bailee Brommenschenkel had five assisted ones.

Morgan Vosberg had a busy match at the setter position, ending the win with 49 assists.

The 24-11 Wildcats are the 12th seed in the tournament and they move on to face ninth-seeded McHenry County at 4:30 p.m. tonight.
