On November 3 at around 2:25 pm, Richland County Communications received an emergency call for help involving a grain auger.

The accident happened at a grain bin site near Fairmount, ND, where a male in his 20’s was working under a grain auger when a cable had snapped on the auger causing the grain auger to come down and land on the males head causing injury.

The male was transported to a Fargo hospital, by Breckenridge Ambulance with what appear to be non-life threating injuries.

Responding to the scene were, Richland County Sheriff’s Office, Fairmount Fire and Rescue, and Breckenridge Ambulance.

The accident remains under investigation
