Wahpeton pushed Grand Forks Red River to five sets but couldn’t claim the victory on the road Tuesday night. The set scores were 25-13, 25-16, 19-25, 20-25 and 15-10.

Kylie Storo turned in possibly the best match of her career, leading the team in kills with 17 and digs with 29.

Three Huskies had five kills in the loss with Hattie Dockter, Aiyana Allard and Addie Rugland making their impact felt offensively.

Lidia Motl ended the night with 27 digs from the libero position.

Next up for Wahpeton is a 2 p.m. Thursday non-conference road match against Grafton.
