Pulitzer Prize-winning author and Wahpeton native Louise Erdrich will be taking part in a Q&A session at Hughes Shelter as part of National Arts & Humanities Month.
The session will take place from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17 and is hosted by the Three Rivers Arts Council, Red Door Art Gallery and Wahpeton Parks and Recreation.
Erdrich, a Wahpeton High School Hall of Famer, has written numerous award-winning books spanning multiple genres. She’s also a recipient of the Theodore Roosevelt Rough Rider Award, which recognizes North Dakotans who achieve national recognition in their fields of endeavor after being influenced by their home state.
The event is free and open to the public and will include refreshments.
