A collision between a semi and a car occurred shortly after 2 a.m. Tuesday morning near Wyndmere.

The car was driven by a 40-year-old man from Hermosa, South Dakota, who was seriously injured and transported to Fargo by Sanford Air Med. The driver of the semi was taken to CHI St. Francis Hospital in Breckenridge with minor injuries.

According to the State Patrol, the car was eastbound on Highway 13 when it veered across the center line into the semi. The South Dakota driver has DUI charges pending.
