
North Dakota State College of Science celebrated their Homecoming with a 50-14 rout of Vermillion Community College on Saturday.
The Wildcats led 43-8 at halftime.
Graedyn Buell threw five touchdown passes, ending the day with 276 yards. Marselio Mendez continued to be a reliable big-play threat for Buell, scoring two touchdowns while going for 110 yards on only four catches.
Buell spread the ball around with Dayton Smith, Kemar Graham and Brady Borgen each hauling in a TD pass.
Ronald Todd had the lone rushing score for NDSCS with a 20-yard run.
The Wildcat defense forced three turnovers with one of them turning into six points off a 45-yard pick six by Ethan John.
Next up for the 5-0 NDSCS squad is a 1:30 p.m. Saturday road battle with Central Lakes College in Brainerd.
