In a rescheduled meet, the Breckenridge-Wahpeton Storm cross-country team hosted their annual home competition at Bois de Sioux Golf Course on Thursday.

Along with BW, Lake Park-Audubon, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, Tri-State and Fargo North’s JV took part in the meet.

Four BW girls finished in the top 10. Kierra Wiertzema ran a time of 22:13 to take fourth, Rachel Gowin followed in fifth place with a time of 22:18, Aubrey Boesen was right behind her in sixth in 23:13 and Adi Dodge took ninth with a time of 24:18.

Aidan Ruddy led the boys with a third-place finish in 18:51. Luke Baumgardner was next up for BW in fifth place, finishing in 19:21. Jaxon Hill also cracked the top 10, taking eighth in 20:11.

The next meet for the Storm is Thursday at Pebble Lake Golf Club in Fergus Falls.
