The Breckenridge Cowboys scored all of their points in the second quarter of a 20-8 home victory over the Parkers Prairie Panthers on Friday.

Neither team scored in the first quarter and the Cowboys struck first with a 10-yard rushing touchdown by Griffin Bosse. Cameron Nieto went in for the two-point conversion.

Nieto followed up the scoring rush with his first two TD passes of the year. The first was an 18-yard pass that found Dylan Bernotas in the end zone. His second was an eight-yard toss, fittingly darted to No. 8 Gavin Snyder in the back of the end zone.

The lone Parkers Prairie touchdown came with 7:02 remaining in the game, but Breckenridge responded with a 17-play drive that ran the clock out despite a trio of Panther timeouts.

The 1-1 Cowboys play their first road game of the season in Frazee at 7 p.m. Friday.
