The Wahpeton boys tennis team fell to Valley City 7-2 on Tuesday in the first home match of the year for the Huskies.
Alex Comings had the lone singles match win for Wahpeton with a score of 6-1, 6-1.
The Huskies also had a doubles match victory by Comings and Andrew Withuski by a score of tie-breaking set win of 7-0 and a set win of 6-0.
Wahpeton is on the road Thursday, Aug. 26, against West Fargo Sheyenne High School.
