Wahpeton’s girls golf team will have at least three individual competitors at the North Dakota State Golf Meet.

Anaka Lysne, Lily Anderson and Halle Miller all qualified at the Fargo South Invite on Wednesday, one of two state-qualifying meets this season. Even more impressive is the fact that they almost had four qualifiers as Scout Woods missed the cut by one stroke.

Lysne, who finished first at a meet earlier this week, tied for the top spot this time around with a 77 at Rose Creek Golf Course in Fargo.

Anderson finished with a score of 90, Miller was one stroke behind with a 91 and Woods finished with a 93.

Lynse is the lone senior to punch her ticket to state as Anderson is a junior and Miller is only a freshman.

The Huskies have another meet in Fargo at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1 at Edgewood Golf Course.
