Lincoln State Bank in Wyndmere was held up Monday morning and the female suspect is on the run.

The robbery was reported shortly before 11 Monday morning and according to Richland County Chief deputy Gary Ruehl, the woman demanded money while wearing a face covering.

Two employees were working at the time of the incident and the suspect left in a tan or beige GMC or Chevrolet pickup with a topper. There were no customers in the bank at the time of the robbery.

Along with the sheriff’s office, North Dakota BCI and the highway patrol also responded to the bank. A state Game and Fish warden who lives in Wyndmere was another responder on scene.
