Breckenridge Post 53 scored 6 times in the second inning and Cooper Yaggie threw a 3-hit shutout on Tuesday in a 7-0 win against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton at Cowboy Field.
Breckenridge improved to 7-2 on the season.
Post 53 sent 10 batters to the plate in the second inning to take the lead. Cam Nieto and Yaggie drove in 2 runs in the inning while Emmit Vig and Jared Aamold added an RBI.
Breckenridge had 6 hits in the game with six different plays collecting one each.
Yaggie struck out 8 and didn’t walk a batter in getting a win with the complete-game shutout.
Breckenridge next plays in the Montevideo tournament starting on Friday.
