Breckenridge Cowboys senior Gavin Johnson earned a spot on the podium at the Minn. Class A Track and Field Meet on Friday with a 7th-place finish in the discus competition.

Johnson also placed 13th in the shot put.

Johnson’s top throw at state is the discus was 137 feet, 0 inches.

He added a throw of 49 feet, 0 inches in the shot put.
