Wyndmere-Lidgerwood senior Drew Frolek finished second on Saturday in the girls Class B 800-meter run at the N.D. State Track and Field Championships in Bismarck.

The Lady Warbird senior ran a time of 2 minutes, 21.41 seconds, getting edged out for first placed by May-Port-CG eighth grader Tatum Mehus at 2:20.54.

On Friday, Frolek teamed with Olivia Frolek, Kendra Kaczynski and Dreah to place third in the 4×800 relay 10 minutes, 14.34 seconds.

The two finishes gave Wyndmere-Lidgerwood 14 points in the state meet and in a time for 15th place overall.
