The Wahpeton boys golf team started the season by finishing sixth at the West Fargo Sheyenne Invitational at Village Green Golf Course on Tuesday.

The Huskies shot a team total of 361. Fargo Davies won the meet at 323.

Senior Bridger Hansen led the way for Wahpeton with an 83, good for 9th place.

Bjorn Birkelo shot an 84 and tied for 13th. Avery Rugland added an 89, Bjorn Kubela 105, Jackson Clooten 111 and Cade Mauch 117.
