The Breckenridge-Wahpeton softball team opened the spring season by going 1-2 at the Minnewaska quadrangular on Saturday.
B-W lost 5-0 to Minnewaska, 5-3 to Brandon-Evansville and beat Ottertail Central 9-3.
B-W had just one hit against Minnewaska in its first game of the season.
Abby Johnson had a hit and two runs scored in the second game while Anaka Lysne, Ana Erickson and McKena Koolmo also had a hit.
In the win over the Bulldogs, Morgan Bruns was 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs, Johnson was 2 for 3 with a double and two runs scored and Koolmo was 2 for 3 with a triple.
B-W next plays at Ortonville at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
