The Wahpeton Park Board held its monthly meeting on Wednesday.
Some of the top news coming out of the meeting include:
— A 60 foot by 60 foot storage building was approved near the Chahinkapa Park maintenance shop.
— A dump trailer purchase was approved from Sherven Sales.
— Chahinkapa Zoo Cleanup Day is on Saturday, April 17, and the zoo opens for the season on Saturday, April 24.
— Shea Truesdell was recognized with an Eagle Scout award for installing shoreline benches at the Kidder Recreation Area.
— Community Center users have requested that a new gym flooring system be considered.
