Jana Berndt, Director of the Richland Wilkin Community Foundation is inviting everyone to a Virtual Culinary Tour of Italy. The virtual presentation will take place on Thursday, March 25th at 6:00 PM. The tour is a virtual cooking school presented by Chef Kyle, instructor for the NDSCS Culinary Arts Department. “He’s first an educator” Berndt said. “He tells you the why. Why to we pound the meat the way we do. Why do we put the flour the way we do.” Berndt said that she was part of the rehearsal process and said that Chef Kyle’s presentation was “educational and interesting!” She also instructed people to go to the Community foundation website at NDCF.net and look for Richland Wilkin. “Tickets will be available there” Berndt added. Proceeds go to the Richland Wilkin Community Foundation.
