Chahinkapa Zoo Director Kathy Diekman reported to KBMW that attendance for the Zoo’s Bears Workshop was a huge success. The event was held on Tuesday, March 9th at the Zoo. Diekman said “we try to cap our classes at 12 and we had 44 people show up!” The event was held from 4:00 PM till 5:00 PM. Diekman added “we took them in three different groups to other habitats as well, but to spy the bears in their den was a lot of fun!” The next event at the Zoo will be Hop Into Spring on Saturday,  March 20th from 10:00 AM till 4:00 PM. “Regular Zoo admission applies and it does include an egg hunt” Diekman said.
