Lauren Halverson went coast to coast for a layup with 10 seconds remaining in overtime to give the Barnesville Trojans a 54-53 win over the Cowgirls in Breckenridge on Friday.
Jude Held put the team on her back with 17 of her game-high 21 points coming in the second half. She sank eight of her nine free throw attempts on the night, all coming in the second half.
Grace Conzemius battled foul trouble and an injury in the second half, finishing the game with seven points.
The Cowgirls had a five-game winning streak snapped with the loss and are 11-4. Breckenridge plays at Perham tonight at 7:30 p.m.
