Four fire departments and Richland County Emergency Management were called to a house fire around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The fire was located on County Road 10 southeast of Wahpeton.
Neighbors of the family living in the house notified officials. The home owners were not at home during the fire.
Fire crews from Dwight, Wahpeton, Breckenridge and Mooreton remained on the scene for three hours to contain the blaze.
No injuries were reported.
Richland County Emergency Management estimates the house to be a total loss.
