B-W Blades sophomore Breckin Spinks scored on a breakaway less than 2 minutes into overtime on Tuesday to lift the Blades to a 3-2 win over Park Rapids.

The win was the first of the season for B-W.

Junior Tanner Barth scored just 6 seconds into the game to give the Blades a 1-0 lead.

Park Rapids led 2-1 after one period before Nick Zach tied the game midway through the second period.

Neither team scored in the third period.

Spinks’ goal was his first of the season.

Senior goalie Jared Aamold made 47 saves to get the win.
