The Wahpeton Lady Huskies fell behind by 23 at halftime and were sent home with a 69-34 loss to the Grand Forks Red River Roughriders on Tuesday
Lidia Motl was the lone Huskie to reach double-digit scoring with 11 points. She sank all four of her free throws along with a 3-pointer. Haley Kjar and McKenna Koolmo followed with seven and six points, respectively.
Emma Bontjes pulled down a team-high eight rebounds.
Three Red River players hit double figures, led by Jasmine Sondrol with 19.
Wahpeton is 2-15 and looks to complete their season sweep of Grand Forks Central on Friday at 7 p.m.
