The top of the N.D. AP Sportscasters and Sportswriters Class B girls basketball poll belongs to Region 1.
In the poll released Monday night, Central Cass was ranked No. 1 and Kindred No. 2. The Squirrels got 15 of 21 first-place votes with the Vikings collecting the remaining 6.
The Class B boys basketball poll is also led by a Region 1 team with Enderlin holding down the top spot.
