The No. 3 ranked West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs jumped out to a big lead over the Wahpeton Huskies on Saturday and cruised to an 88-36 win at West Fargo.

The Huskies saw their three-game winning streak stopped and fell to 5-3 overall and 5-3 in the EDC. Sheyenne improved to 7-1 overall and 7-1 EDC.

Sheyenne led 56-12 at the half.

Senior Tyler Tollefson scored 15 points and had 3 assists to lead the Huskies while sophomore Ethan Manock added 8 points and 5 rebounds.

Senior Desire Munezero had 8 rebounds and 5 steals, but was limited to 3 points.

Wahpeton remains on the road for its next game, playing at Fargo Shanley at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The game can be heard on KBMW.
