The Wahpeton girls basketball team came away with their first win of the season with a 49-46 road victory over Grand Forks Central.
Scout Woods went for 20 points in the win and was the lone Huskie in double figures. She also pulled down a team-high eight boards. Taya Lunneborg grabbed six rebounds for Wahpeton.
Aiyana Allard drilled a pair of triples to end the night with six points. Nine Wahpeton players scored in the win.
The Huskies are 1-5 and head to Valley City for a 7:15 p.m. Friday battle.
