Wahpeton Athletic Director Mike McCall announced on Monday that the Breckenridge-Wahpeton girls and boys basketball games have been rescheduled to a different date and site.
The games will now by on Saturday, Feb. 6 and will be played at Wahpeton High School due to the current COVID-19 limitations for fans.
The games were originally scheduled for Jan. 23 at the NDSCS Activities Center.
The schedule will be split between the girls and the boys, with the gym cleared in between the girls and boys games. The girls will start with the junior varsity game at 12:15 p.m. and the varsity game at 2 p.m. The boys will then follow with the junior varsity game at 4:30 p.m. and the varsity game at 6 p.m.
At this time, no visiting fans will be allowed to attend the games. That could change with changes to the North Dakota Department of Health Smart Restart guidelines.
