The City of Wahpeton announced Monday that soil borings will be done on several streets in the city starting on Tuesday.
The soil borings, which is taking soil samples from a parcel of land to determine its condition, properties, and suitability for planned construction projects, will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday on the following streets from Dakota Avenue to 2nd Street North:
11th Street North
9th Street North
6th Street North
3rd Street North
And 4th Street South from Dakota Ave to the railroad tracks
The contractor will have lane closures set up during the time of the work and motorists are asked to use alternate routes if possible.
