Wahpeton opened their wrestling season with a home triangular on Tuesday. The Huskies split with their Eastern Dakota Conference foes, besting Fargo South 36-27 and falling to Fargo Davies 70-12.
Hunter Owens and Jordan Miller each had pins against Davies for the lone Huskie victories of the dual. Owens also picked up a win by forfeit against the Bruins.
Logan Gjerdevig, Bryce Awender, Weston Jensen, Kaleb Mostoller and Tanner Thiel all won their matches in the Fargo South dual by pin.
