The Eastern Dakota Conference sports website on Monday listed Wahpeton’s first basketball games of the season tentatively set for Dec. 17.

The Huskies will host Fargo South at 7:15 p.m. at Wahpeton High School while the Lady Huskies will play at Fargo South.

Both teams will then play two days later with the Wahpeton boys hosting Devils Lake at 4 p.m. and the girls playing at Devils Lakes also at 4 p.m.

Both teams will then conclude their pre-Christmas Schedule on Dec. 22 with the Huskies playing at Fargo North and the Lady Huskies hosting the Spartans.

North Dakota high school teams can begin practicing for winter sports on Nov. 30 with the first games allowed on Dec. 14 in a decision by N.D. Governor Doug Burgum.
