The Wahpeton Police Department notified the community of a high-risk sex offender registered with their department.

Aaron Bever, 35, is currently homeless and is registering with the Wahpeton Police Department every three days as required by North Dakota state statute.

Bever has been sleeping in a red 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche pickup with the license plate 950CVH in a public parking lot located on the south side of Dakota Ave. between Fourth and Fifth Street South.

Bever entered a no contest plea in Dunn County, Wisconsin, in 2003 to two counts of Fourth Degree Sexual Assault. He was originally charged with one count of repeated sexual assault of a child.
