The Breckenridge School Board announced Monday that it will host a special meeting at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
The meeting will be in the Elementary Media Center at the Breckenridge Middle School.
Among the topics on the agenda will be Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s executive orders 20-94 and 20-95 last week.
20-94 is aimed at making things easier for teachers during the pandemic and strongly discourages schools from requiring teachers to teach students live in-person and remotely at the same time. The order also requires schools to give teachers an extra 30 minutes of planning time each day to prepare for distance learning.
20-95 clarified the time France for school districts to implement additional preparation time.
The meeting will also include canvassing general election results and certificates of election.
