The Wahpeton School District announced on Tuesday that it will hold a special meeting of the Wahpeton School Board on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 4 p.m.
The meeting will only have remote access available.
North Dakota School Superintendent Kristen Baesler will be included in the meeting to discuss the local and statewide COVID-19 pandemic.
The school board voted 5-4 last week to not require people to wear masks in the school buildings.
The school is also conducting a survey of parents, teachers and residents on if they feel a need for masks inside the Wahpeton schools or not.
The Wahpeton senior class has also started a petition online, calling for the school board to vote for a mask requirement.
