
The North Dakota State men’s basketball team, who lost a chance due to COVID-19 to play one of the college basketball’s blue bloods, has the chance to play another.
NDSU was scheduled to play at UCLA this November, but the Pac-12 went to a conference schedule only. On Monday NDSU announced it would play Kansas on Dec. 5 in Lawrence, Kansas.
The Bison begin the season Nov. 27-29 with a four-team event played at UW-Milwaukee.
NDSU was also picked to finish third in the men’s preseason poll.
The defending Summit League champions finished behind South Dakota State and Oral Roberts.
The Bison, coached by Wahpeton’s Dave Richman, return two starters from last year’s team that went 23-8.
