Breckenridge dropped the opening set of their home volleyball match against Pelican Rapids, but answered by taking the next three in a 3-1 victory on Tuesday.

The set scores were 21-25, 29-27, 25-17 and 25-16.

Camryn Kaehler turned in a big night with 22 kills and nine aces to lead the team in both categories. Sophie Larson also stood out from the server’s line, finishing with five aces.

Abby Johnson and Jude Held each notched 11 kills and Riley Finkral was dig leader with 18.

The Cowgirls are 2-0 on the year. They hit the road to face Perham at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22.
