The Minnesota State Highway Patrol said in a release on Monday that that a car and semi trailer were in a collision on Highway 9 and County Road 18 in Wilkin County.

Donovan Conzemius of Breckenridge was driving the semi heading north on Highway 9 when he hit Timothy Christopher of Breckenridge, who was traveling east on County Road 18.

Christopher entered the intersection and was struck by Conzemius around 11:30 a.m. Monday.

Conzemius was taken to the CHI St. Francis medical center with non-life threatening injuries. Christopher had no injuries.

The report also said that no alcohol was involved in the incident.
