The city of Breckenridge is asking its residents to not put their leaves out onto the street.

Excessive buildup of leaves in the storm system can become a big added expense for both the city and residents.

You can drop off grass clippings and leaves at the drop-off site on Pope Avenue, just south of Favorites Deli. The city asks that you have no bags, cardboard boxes or branches.

The tree branch drop-off site is located three miles north of the city on Highway 9. Turn right after the Head of the Red Trap Shoot Club.

Only tree branches, leaves and grass clippings will be accepted.
