Breckenridge-Wahpeton’s Aiden Ruddy finished sixth to earn all-conference honors at the Heart O’ Lakes Conference cross country meet on Wednesday.
The junior ran a time of 17 minutes, 27 seconds to finish in the top 10.
Also for the B-W boys, Logan Mammenga finished 29th in 19:32 as the team finished fifth. Also, Luke Baumgardner was 30th in 19:32, Gus Lasch 44th in 20:15 and Shea Truesdell roundup out the scoring in 45th in 20:21.
The B-W girls also placed fifth behind Rachel Gowin’s 20th-place finish in 21:57.
Emily Gowin was right behind in 26th place at 22:35 with Kiera Wiertzema 37th in 23:26, Gabby Baumgardner 38th in 23:27 and Hallee Bruce 41st in 23:38.
The final races for the team will be the Minn. Section 6A meets next week. The boys run Tuesday in Long Prairie and the girls go Thursday at New London-Spicer.
