The Minnesota State Highway Patrol released the name of the victim and driver of a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred early Tuesday morning in Otter Tail County.
The driver was 23-year-old Tristan Walter of Wahpeton.
The victim was 27-year-old Amber Gorentz of Wadena.
The Minnesota State Patrol said Walter was driving west on Highway 34 near milepost 18 in Otter Tail County when he hit the woman.
The original accident report said it was unclear if alcohol was involved in the incident.
The accident remains under investigation.
