Breckenridge-Wahpeton’s Aiden Ruddy placed ninth Friday at the Pequot Lakes triangular against No. 1 ranked West Central Area and Pequot Lakes.
Ruddy ran a time of 18 minutes, 13 seconds for his top-10 finish. Junior Perez placed 16th in 19:12 with Logan Mammenga right behind in 18th place at 19:47.
Gabby Baumgartner led the B-W girls by placing 11th in 22:36. Rachel Gowin was two spots back in 13th at 22:44 with Madison Rabbithead 17th in 23:37.
B-W will host Otter Tail Central and Hawley this Friday at 4 p.m. at the Boise de Sioux golf course.
Lady Huskies take part in East Region golf
The Wahpeton girls golf team will compete today at the East Region tournament in Grand Forks at the Grand Forks Country Club.
The top six teams advance to the state tournament next week in Minot.
