The North Dakota Department of Health and the Wahpeton school system announced on Monday that a positive COVID-19 case has been reported at Wahpeton High School.
The school said the positive case came from a substitute teacher who has not been in the school since Sept. 4.
Wahpeton High School will continue with in-person learning and no student has been identified as being in close contact with the individual with COVID-19.
The school did ask for parents to remain aware of the signs and symptoms of the disease and to immediately contact the school if your child begins showing symptoms.
