
Tri-State senior quarterback Derick Carl ran for 276 yards and four touchdowns and passed for 141 yards to led the Tri-State Tigers to a 42-28 win over Griggs-Midkota on a rainy night in Fairmount on Friday.
The Tigers (3-1) have won three straight since opening the season with a loss at Wyndmere-Lidgerwood.
Carl’s 417 yards of total offense was enough to hold off the Titans’.
The teams were tied 22-22 at the half before Tri-State scored three times in the third quarter to take the lead for good.
Neither team scored in the fourth quarter.
Tigers senior running back Brandon Gruenwald added 77 rushing yards.
