With still some mail-in votes yet to be counted, it appears that David Woods, Tiana Bohn, Brett Lambrecht, Bryan Wolfgram and Renata Fobb all won seats on the Wahpeton City Council in Tuesday’s primary election.

The entire election was done by mail-in voting due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Woods, along with Wolfgram, won seats in Wahpeton’s 4th Ward, with Woods having 214 votes and Wolfgram 166 as of Wednesday.

Bohn was re-elected to the 3rd Ward, a spot she has held before. Lambrecht was voted in as a councilman-at large.

Bohn totaled 117 votes to beat Bruce Eckre for the final two years of the 3rd Ward, vacated by Lambrecht after he moved out of the ward. Lambrecht received 1,042 votes in the uncontested race. Fobb won the other at-large spot with 783 votes as of Wednesday.

The total votes and results won’t be made official until Monday.
