Wahpeton Post 20 swept Crookston Post 20 on Thursday by scores of 11-1 and 6-1. Wahpeton is now 10-6 overall and winners of five straight.
Rylan Flack had a marvelous outing in the opener. The righty pitched all five innings, holding Crookston to a pair of hits while walking four. Flack fanned six batters and threw 51 of his 88 pitches in the zone.

Aiden Hajek and Riley Jones drove in two runs apiece. Carter Hockert added an RBI, while drawing three walks and bashing a triple. Treyton King went 2-for-2 with a double for Wahpeton’s other extra-base hit.

Wahpeton remained patient at the plate with 10 walks. Brayden Steffens, Cayson Pinsonneault and King each stole a base.
King batted 2-for-2 in both games and collected two RBIs. The slugger has come alive as of late, elevating his batting average to a team-best .444. King swiped two bags in the nightcap, giving him a team-high nine steals.
Wahpeton found a way to win the second game despite registering just three hits. The lineup drew five walks and stole six bases, led by three Brayden Steffens thefts.
Riley Jones is having a breakout two-way season for Wahpeton
Riley Jones found his swing-and-miss pitches in the five-inning nightcap, going the distance while striking out eight. The righty scattered five hits and two walks while holding Crookston to a lone run. Jones lowered his ERA to 2.68 through 15 ⅔ innings, improving his record to 2-1.
Wahpeton committed two errors in the opener and none in the nightcap.
