Hajek, Pinsonneault sign to play baseball at NDSCS

Wildcats

The North Dakota State College of Science baseball program announced the signings of Wahpeton pitcher/infielder Aiden Hajek and Wahpeton utility man Cayson Pinsonneault for the 2026-27 season.

Hajek was a key part of the Post 20 American Legion team’s 2024 state championship, earning a complete-game win during the team’s second consecutive state title run.

Hajek, primarily a rock solid third baseman, can play both corner infield positions in addition to anchoring the Huskies pitching staff as he prepares for the spring season. Hajek provides premium pop at the plate as a doubles/triples hitter with power to all fields.

Pinsonneault burst onto the scene last summer for the rebuilding Post 20 program as a .300 hitter who shifted between the top and middle of the lineup, providing a clutch bat as Wahpeton played its best ball during the region tournament.

Pinsonneault can play all three outfield positions in addition to pitching. He gained further experience last summer playing a key role in the second half of the Wahpeton Wahppers amateur baseball state championship run.
