Eighth grade guard Piper Nelson popped off for a season-high 28 points Monday, helping the Wahpeton Lady Huskies topple Oak Grove on the road, 70-48, in a Region 1 girls basketball contest.
The victory moved Wahpeton’s record to 5-4 overall and 4-1 in the region, elevating them to sole-possession of second place in Region 1.
