
Davies remains on top in 11AAA and Minot North stays number one in 11AA in the latest North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters & Sportswriters Association football polls, released Monday.
Davies, who wrapped up the top seed for the playoffs from 11AAA East with a win over Horace, is 7-1 and becomes the first team this season to be number one in three straight 11AAA polls. The Eagles were a unanimous top choice, receiving all 19 first-place votes.
Minot North maintained its narrow lead in the poll, just six points, over Kindred. The Sentinels remained unbeaten with a win over Jamestown that locked up the 11AA West top seed. Minot North received 12 first-place votes. The Vikings, still undefeated and set to be the number one seed from 11AA East when the playoffs start next week, garnered six.
