Breckenridge Post 53 has sparked its first winning streak of the summer, marking consecutive wins with an 11-1 defeat of Ashby Post 357.
Logan Church spearheaded the lineup with two hits and a game-high four runs batted in. Trey Vogelbacher joined the party in a 2-for-2 showing that included three RBIs.
Riley Kappes, Jaxson Riggs and Connor Ernst scored two runs apiece.
Kappes earned the win on the bump, pitching five innings without allowing an earned run. The righty held Ashby to a pair of hits while striking out one and walking none. He threw just 55 pitches in the abbreviated outing.
Breckenridge (3-1) travels to Pelican Rapids for a 6:30 p.m. contest Wednesday before a five-day break between games.
