Gracin Kaste led the Wahpeton golfers Friday with a 77 round at The Meadows in Moorhead. Kaste’s nine-hole scores were below 80 on both sides of the course. He carded a birdie and 11 pars.
“A great day for Gracin Kaste in pretty tough conditions,” Huskies head coach Jeff Ralph said.
It was another solid round from Brennen Ritter with a 2-over-par 38 on the front nine. Ritter had one birdie and nine pars on the day.
“Brennen has been flirting with sub-80 scores all season and was right there today,” Ralph said.
Wahpeton finished ninth in the 12-team field with a 338 team score, a marked improvement from previous meets.
