Several Breckenridge-Wahpeton Bolt swimmers attended a large meet at Hulbert Aquatic Center on Friday in West Fargo, featuring five teams from all over Minnesota and five from North Dakota.

Harvey Fixen had considerable time drops and was able to pick up first-place honors in 50 breaststroke with a time of 40.44 seconds. Fixen finished second in 100 backstroke (1:29.07) and 100 breast (1:32.02) alongside a fifth place  in 100 freestyle — all state-qualifying times.

Isla Burgr also grabbed first-place honors in 200 breast (3:13.47), runner-up in 50 breast (39.24), eighth 50 back and ninth in 100 free — all state qualifiers.

Milo Selstedt swam a great 50 fly for second place with a state time of 34.68 and picked up third in 100 back (1:20.67) to qualify for state.

Aiden Henningson picked up fourth in 50 back with a state time of 41.21. Henningson also grabbed third in 50 breast. It was also the first meet for Ethan Henningson and he handled the 50 meter pool well.
